Coolsculpting at Villano MD: Everything you need to know

What is Coolsculpting?

Coolsculpting is a non-surgical fat-freezing procedure that uses “controlled cooling” to help eliminate stubborn fat that resists diet and exercise. Results are “proven, noticeable, and lasting — so you’ll look great from every angle.”

Our specialists at Villano MD have undergone in-depth training, and we perform Coolsculpting in our medical office to guarantee the highest standard of care.

coolsculptingWhat to Expect with Coolsculpting

Your first appointment at Villano MD is always complimentary, so we can figure out exactly what you are looking for and what will work best for you. You will want to make that consultation appointment to see if you are a good candidate for Coolsculpting. Because every body is different, we will want to have a good idea of the areas you are looking to cover and your body type, as well as answering any questions you may have, to provide you the best treatment we can.

Treatment Time

Treatment times will vary depending on your body and what area you are looking to have treated. Appointments will take a minimum of an hour and 15 minutes, but could be longer depending on the treatment area or areas.

Downtime with Coolsculpting

Your downtime will be minimal, and in fact there may be no downtime at all. This is not a surgical procedure, so you can anticipate jumping back into your daily routine immediately post-treatment.

Microneedling in bendPain Level

The pain level for the Coolsculpting procedure is also minimal because it is both non-invasive and non-surgical. However, as your body eliminates fat cells in the days and weeks following your treatment, you may feel some changes in your body.

You will feel almost no pain during treatment. Post-treatment you may feel tenderness and numbness, and you may experience bruising, swelling, numbness, or tenderness.  These symptoms will clear up within a few weeks.

Results

Some patients will see results as early as a month post-treatment, but expect it to be closer to three months after treatment to see your full results. During your consultation, your Coolsculpting technician will advise you of the number of treatments that are likely to be needed to obtain optimum results.  However, depending on your body’s response, this number could either decrease or increase.  Your technician will meet with you at a 60-day follow up session to assess your progress and make any additional recommendations.

Keep in mind:  while Coolsculpting is not a weight lost technique, it is one part of a holistic approach to your full body transformation.
