Neck Lift

Although a traditional facelift combined with neck liposuction smooths and tightens the skin of the neck, it doesn’t address the issue of the underlying muscles, which weaken as we age. Consequently, the middle of the neck may take on a sunken appearance with sagging, excess skin. Neck lift surgery tightens the underlying neck muscles, restoring the neck to its youthful appearance and making the muscles less prone to further sagging with age. Neck lift surgery is usually performed in conjunction with a facelift and neck liposuction.

The procedure is performed in our office on an outpatient basis. Neck lift surgery is typically performed with local anesthesia and sedation. With local anesthesia, you’ll be awake during the procedure but anesthetized and relaxed. The surgery takes about one hour depending on the extent of the procedure.
