Nose Surgery

Nose surgery, or Rhinoplasty, is one of the most common types of surgery performed today. An individual may choose to have his or her nose reshaped for many different reasons, ranging from the aesthetic, including the desire for a more pleasing appearance, to the functional, such as for the correction of an impaired airway.

Rhinoplasty can reduce or increase the size of your nose, can change the shape of the tip or the bridge of the nose and can even narrow the span of the nostrils or change the angle between your nose and upper lip. Dr. Villano’s training combined with his many years’ experience in performing nose surgeries makes him Central Oregon’s expert in all aspects of rhinoplasty.

The procedure is typically performed in our office, usually on an outpatient basis. Rhinoplasty can be performed under local or general anesthesia. With local anesthesia, you’ll be awake during the procedure, but anesthetized and relaxed. The surgery time can vary, depending on the extent of the procedure.
